Located in the picturesque village of Chinaillon, part of the Grand Bornand ski resort, this excellent apartment occupies almost the whole lowest floor of “A” building in the prestigious Pistes du Soleil development.  It has the benefit of a large south facing terrace with views over the mountains and protected by well established shrubs. There is cosy under-floor heating throughout and extra convection heaters in every room.

The office for lift passes, the pistes and main lifts are within 100 meters and the main restaurants, bars and shops are 50 meters away.

Hiking, tennis, mountain biking, para pente, fishing, ballooning and rafting are all easily organised within the vicinity. Grand Bornand has its own cinema and also an inexpensive nine hole golf course with driving range and clubhouse that is open to all visitors.

The Festival au Bonheur des Momes on August 19th is a Children’s Festival with a multitude of games and attractions for children up to age 12.

The apartment has been beautifully finished in an Alpine chalet style and has a 4* luxury rating from the tourist office.


8 people can sleep comfortably in the accommodation, comprising of 4 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, the other 3 with twin beds. There are 2 large wet rooms, 1 bathroom and 3 WCs. There is a large open plan sitting/dining/kitchen beautifully equipped and furnished with comfortable sofas and quality furniture. The dining table extends to seat up to 16 people complete with ample crockery, cutlery and glass.


The kitchen has a full oven, electric induction hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, good extraction and a microwave. A washing machine and tumble dryer is provided.

The apartment is equipped with LCD TV, receiving British “SKY”.  A DVD player, and CD system are also provided.  Broadband will shortly be available.  On the terrace, garden furniture, barbecue and ping-pong can be enjoyed. The garage is immediately below the apartment, and there is also a ski locker.

Linen and towels are provided and a cot (no linen) and high chair are available on request. The change-over day is Sunday.
